The existence of Caerdroia is exactly why I think this is believable! They’ve done it before, and I think doing it again to show how much 8 has changed over his distinct eras would be really cool

I think maybe as it was the first box-set stuff they did for Doctor Who? Maybe?
I also struggle getting into the main/monthly range due to the format, if its 1 story or a boxset I’m choosing a boxset as its more stories.

It was iirc yeah. And it was originally only planned to be one set, but it did really well so they did more and that’s why it feels so disjointed.

I agree with you to a point. I think the main 8DAs releases should point forward, that’s why I’m not as onboard with Audacity and Charley as part of the forum.
But I’m completely fine with revisiting eras in special releases, which for me Planet Krynoid counts as.

I wish there was a way to see if a certain range or set has been discontinued. I’m just disappointed again that the Six and Peri boxset and the Bayban range were released the same year and nothing has been heard about a second installment since[1]. Were the sales low or something? It just doesn’t make sense to me why’d they’d halt the Six and Peri set, but immediately launch into four sets back to back for a new companion.
I want more Baybe 
although I’m not sure if the Bayban audios were supposed to be a range and not just a special feature ↩︎

Possibly, it’s always something that worries me when I’m into a more niche Big Finish series that isn’t super popular, like Torchwood S5-7. I remember being shocked S7 even happened as it was years after S6. Now I’m back worrying if S8 will ever happen.

As I understood it the Bayban audios were never intended to be a range on their own as they were part of the range of spin-offs that came out such as the Avalon audios, the Clone Masters and Heroes and Villains.

That makes sense because the box set doesn’t state “Volume 1” on the cover. Speaking generally, I’d take a second Bayban set over another Six audio right now. Give Colin something else to do.

Interesting. It also has K9 and Annette Badland as Aunt Lavina. Personally, I’ve would’ve preferred a Series of FDAs with the pair, but this might be fun.
