I’m sorry if this is already a topic, I can delete otherwise. I was just wondering what the best Sonic Screwdriver Toys/Replicas to get are? I unfortunately don’t have any currently, but I would like to change that.

Twelfth Doctor is really good, although the switch does break unfortunately (like, it stops functioning as a switch)

Character Options are the main company that make the toys, and the most recent ones are of a really good quality. Rubbertoe Replicas make props for the show and then sell the exact versions remade but they cost an arm and a leg. These days they just make sonics, but they used to do little props and I have a couple like the Siege Mode TARDIS and Confession Dial! Seven20 (Underground Toys’ failed rebrand) made a 13 sonic toy which is different to the ‘main’ Character Options one, in that its design differs slightly and the light rotates like it does in the show. Older sonics are hard to come by, through 3rd party resellers really, but 15’s is available from CO/Forbidden Planet etc more easily. 14’s should be too I think?

In terms of 15’s sonic there’s I believe 4 versions? The Limited Editions have a chrome effect so they look more realistic and less plasticy and they really do look fab, really look better than all my older sonics without it. But yeah, that’s a Character Options one so looks good!

I’ve got an Eleven sonic which I’ve had for years and it works really well, and the most recent release of Three’s sonic from the Vortex Edition action figure.
