I mentioned this during my introduction post, and a lot of people showed interest, so I figured I’d share my progress so far. Basically, I wanted to make a Guide to help ease newcomers into the Big Finish range, as I personally was a bit intimidated by just how much is available when I started out. It will focus on getting the most value out of the range, both the time it takes to get through each story and the price point; as someone who has been bingeing these stories over the past year, I recognise how expensive it can get so I wanted to help prevent buyer’s remorse where possible, as even free time is a precious commodity.
Part 1 looks at everything that is available on streaming (Main Range, spin-offs, etc.), giving some general recommendations and grouping story arcs together for convenience. All individual links are included across each streaming service (Spotify, Apple, Amazon, TIDAL, Soundcloud), because some of these entries are in odd places and it took myself a bit of digging to find them all.
Future instalments will cover what is available on BBC Sounds, Audible, and on the Big Finish website; I already have the next two instalments written up, just waiting for the right time to post them.
This is the first time I’ve attempted something like this, so any and all feedback and suggestions for this instalment and the Guide going forward is welcome and appreciated.
