Surprisingly, I found myself liking this, its Mind Robber-like setting, the performances, the bleak tone and the very effective, Joker-like villain.

A twisted, surreal, and engaging adventure that delivers strong character moments, an unsettling villain, and a darkly atmospheric setting. The Jester is a memorable antagonist, and the nightmare funfair setting keeps the listener on edge. While the third act loses some steam, the overall experience remains an intense and gripping journey into madness. Fans of The Mind Robber or psychological horror in Doctor Who will find much to enjoy here. 8/10

I am a bit shocked that this one is rated so low, while by no means a Favorite, it’s very enjoyable and very creative. A very high 7/10.

One hundred per cent agree with this:

this one does weirdly feel more fitting in the Divergent Universe Arc than some actual DU Stories we got in that Arc.

Delightfully crazy and fun

Genuinely great. The Axis of Insanity is one I very rarely see talked about and if I do, it’s usually not positive but this is an absolutely thrilling story with some fantastic originality, a great setting and a brilliant villain.

Easily one of the most underrated stories in the Main Range and definitely one that needs to be talked about more

I love this story. It’s really underrated. The villain is incredibly fun and absolutely unhinged, the setting is absolutely gorgeous, the writing is really strong, the characterization of the TARDIS team is really great with the single father Five and his two precocious teenage daughters Peri and Erimem. Erimem really shines in this one too, being the key to victory and really showing how intelligent she is.

Another one I simply do not remember but I don’t think I cared for it much

I’m loving the positivity about this story!

This was a really good concept and interesting execution. Not my favourite by a long shot but a half-decent story. 6/10

I do think there is many strong aspects to this one, but it has two drawbacks: the kind of character the villain is usually don’t work for me, and their voice really, REALLY gets on my nerves.

Hmm. This one is pretty fun, but paradoxically, all the ‘insanity’ and ‘crazy stuff’ makes it very unremarkable to me. Because there’s not a lot to talk about. Stuff happens, is basically it. We walk around and events happen in this world without rules, and that’s fun, but there’s not a lot to grasp on because stuff can just happen. This feels like the kind of story that, by reading just a plot synopsis, seems either really boring, or way more interesting than it actually is. 7/10.

Relistened to this today while going through training modules - it’s fine. It’s not awful but it definitely thinks it’s wackier and crazier than it actually is. The first part was the best, and the rest kind of plodded along. Decent enough, but not one I’m rushing to relisten to

Went in with low expectations, and really quite enjoyed it tbh! Some nice character work for Erimem and an interesting villain. I wondered if perhaps they’d be the Toymaker at one point! 3/5.
