This was terrible, I did expect worse somehow due to its reputation though. That said, it is still really terrible. Utterly boring, gore for the sake of gore, just unpleasant.

I was skimming through the Big Finish Inside Story book and came across the pages on Nekromanteia. It’s hilarious — no one behind the scenes had anything nice to say about it, other than the writer.

I’ve gone on many a late-night Googling session trying to find the exact quote behind the legend that this audio almost made Peter Davison give up on the role, with minimal success. I certainly don’t doubt that it happened (between Austen never writing for Big Finish again, and the impossibly heaped pile of YIKES that is the story itself), but I’ve always been curious about the accuracy of it.
Anyway, this one just sounds gross, and that’s before what happens to Erimem.
