Listened to this last night and this rocks! Much better set up than Weapon of Choice was imo, and I thought it was gripping throughout.
Oh and I’m with everyone else on how great it was to hear Mary Tamm, and to have the retcon on the regen!

Relistened today. I love this one! It’s so fun and intriguing and full of revelations. I love how so many early Gallifrey stories are just twist after twist after twist– and they’re all character-based as well, and all of them hit home, especially in this one. The two Romanas are fantastic And Brax! He’s so good in this! Ugh I love this series…

Just listen to this again today! It’s really great, I loved all the scenes with Romana I in the vaults, and there were some especially funny moments with K9 trying to tell Romana something and then her getting frustrated when K9 didn’t tell her earlier. Narvin and Darkel are delightful and I love Narvin’s loyalty to Romana even though he hates her. Brax was also great here! (“Oh, don’t mention it. I mean that. To no one. I couldn’t bear the shame.” 
)
I’d forgotten how funny the earlier Gallifrey stuff was, this episode was making me smile the whole time, especially every time Romana reminded someone she was president. She seems to like doing that a lot lol

Relistened to this one today and yeah it’s still one of my favorites for sure! All of the dialogue is so on point, Mary Tamm<3, Narvin 
who I can now properly appreciate, all the Pandora stuff is so good, Leela is wonderful, I love Romana, Brax is amazing

I never think about Lies as a favourite but it is always a great listen!
