Hey! ArtFight 2026 is fast approaching (the theme reveal is only in three days!), so I figured I’d make a thread for it here in case any other TardisGuide users are participating :) Unsure what the overlap between ArtFighters and everybody here is, but just in case it’s not me, here’s a thread!
For those who don’t know, ArtFight is an art trading game that occurs every July. Participants are placed into two themed teams (you can pick a team before July 1st, but if you join afterwards it’s randomly assigned!). You ‘attack’ by drawing another person’s original character, earning points based on a set of criteria! You can attack in any visual medium, including digital art, traditional art, 3D modelling, sculpture, and more!
You can find more information on it here if you’re interested-- it’s very fun! No AI allowed, all work must be your own, and all attacks must be made after July 1st. Check the rules page for more in-depth explanations!

Yesssss I was trying to find any mention of this years AF on the forum a few days ago but couldn’t.
A few days ago I went through the Doctor Who character tag and bookmarked 40… yeah I can do it, no sweat xD

Added! I’ve also added a TARDISGuide user masterlist, so if anyone wants to attack someone from here they just have to check the list :) I don’t have any Doctor Who characters up yet, but maybe soon!!

Not interested in this for me, but I’ll see if my friend wants to do it. Sounds excactly like her sort of thing. She’s probably busy though, doing a fanart competition for the aniversary of a series she’s into, and working on her art HSC.

I’ve been interested in participating since last year but I’m horrible at drawing and I know I probably won’t finish anything. Although it would be a nice challenge to try stuff outside of my comfort zone

Last year I was busy with school so I mostly did sketches as attacks and it was good fun. You don’t have to finish anything, just do what’s fun for you.

Teams are out, it’s Tragedy vs Comedy vs Mystery this year— three teams for the first time ever! Make sure to pick one before the event starts; you can always join after it’s begun, but your team will be randomised for you in that case!

You can make an account and pick “Spectator” as a team which you can see what others do without participating
