If you could give one story a score over five stars, and have it essentially as your “Member’s Choice” that you will always recommend, what would it be? It can be from any medium!
(Also if anyone has a better title please go ahead and change this, I had zero idea what to call this lol)
For me it’s Chimes of Midnight. I can’t really articulate it but for me it’s perfect Doctor Who. Beautifully paced, witty, great balance of horror and comedy, and with fab performances all round. My absolute favourite Shearman script and probably my favourite DW story ever!

My immediate thought is Gallifrey: Spirit. There are a million otherthings I could pick but I love that one so so so much. For TV… maybe it is Remembrance actually. Or The Eleventh Hour. Or the Movie. Or…
Yeah I wasn’t sure how to translate the 10/5* concept we were talking about in the members thread into a title and I don’t think the current one works 
Maybe I’ll change it to be “What Would Be Your Member’s Choice”? I just wasn’t sure if that concept would be clear at a glance…
So I was going to claim first to say Heaven Sent, but you added that one more point, about it being one you’d “always recommend,” and there are definitely circumstances where I wouldn’t recommend someone watch it. Heaven Sent is meaningless without knowing the character arcs that led up to it, and I wouldn’t recommend it in that case.
So my pick goes to Inferno.
I still couldn’t choose one story to recommend because, to me, there are a variety of factors at play in terms of suggesting something to someone.

Ok so my actual favourite episode is Heaven Sent, alas that is quite the cliché and boring answer, so I’ll pick something else.
I would probably go with Last Christmas, one of my absolute favourite episodes, it’s fun, has pretty entertaining side characters, also Santa Claus. Last Christmas also hits me in the feels, some real heart-wrenching moments that always manage to make my cry, just a beautiful episode all-round.
It’s not my subjective absolute favourite story- but it is objectively (imo) the best story I’ve listened to, and one I’d recommend to anyone in a heartbeat. Hence, deserving of over 5 stars.
I could impossible choose with so many that would deserve a place in my personal hall of fame…
But it’s Father’s Day. Father’s Day is the best episode the series has ever produced sorry not sorry everything else is irrelevant. Best story of the franchise.

In terms of ‘a story I would recommend because I really like it and it’s not too complicated’, it’d be ‘Father’s Day’, ‘Midnight’, or ‘Seasons of Fear’ from the audios.
If we’re going with ‘a story that is some of the best of what Doctor Who can be’, I’d probably go with ‘Neverland/Zagreus/Scherzo’ and ‘Seeing I’ from the EDAs (recency bias, probably, ask me again in a few months ahahah).
And if we’re talking ‘Doctor Who story I want everyone to like and appreciate’, it’s the Movie for me, babes.

No. I can’t narrow it down. I still have 62 stories even if I filtered for only 5/5! It shouldn’t be this hard since I have a relatively normal distribution for all stories I’ve rated…
