Three today. Overhated ep.
Took me all five. The audio ones are definitely harder to pinpoint!
in four, always a little slower on the audio clues.
Got it in three as well.
In three today. I should’ve gotten it sooner. I know that music but I was thinking Cybermen so I thought Next Doctor and then Closing Time first.
Got it in 4. I’ve remarked before about being worse on 11th era stories then others, and this also isn’t one that’s been high on my rewatch list. At some point, I’ll probably just rewatch all of 11 straight through…
In one. I continued humming the tune after the clip stopped. Thanks Murray Gold
An easy 1. Not a great episode but I think it was one of my favorites as a kid.
In two. Would recognise the Dalek saucer sound anywhere and then Matt Smith sinched it for me
Three for me. Yeah, this one doesn’t really work for me. There’s solid ideas, but it feels rushed and just doesn’t hang together well. Once we go to the Dalek ship, all reason disontegrates and it just becomes a rush of stuff happening.
In three.
Rainbow Skittles Daleks look ridiculous, but why are people down on this story otherwise? It’s great fun, Ian McNiece does an amazing Churchill, Matt Smith is on fire as always in series 5, callback to Throughton (I’ll never learn to spell his name) era Dalek servant. Not the best story, but enjoyable and fun throughout
In five, the audio clues always take me a bit longer
Two. It was the combination of the throbbing and the swelling Murray Gold music that had me thinking an early new series Dalek story, but then Matt Smith’s voice clinched it.
In two. I love the Daleks Heartbeat sound, but I thought one was the reveal of Skaro from The Magician’s Apprentice. Matt Smith’s voice gave it away though. This episode has always been one of my favourites
Also in three! Just me jumping around guessing Dalek stories until the wwii reference…
In two. Obviously Daleks being ‘made’ so went for Revolution (I’d seen @sircarolyn’s comment). Matt clinched it. An episode of two halves - one good, one bad).
In three, also jumping around a bit, I like the variety of these!
In three picked up that they were talking about the Blitz
I wouldn’t have commented that for that episode
