Got it in one. Immediately recognisable to me. The backstage theatre setting very reminiscent of classic “Talons” and there’s only one story that fits the bill in the Nu Who run.. I know it’s not a well regarded story, but it’s one I always enjoy.

Didn’t get it. This one was strange. So random pictures - a Rutan in New Who? I made five random guesses and I was convinced this was another round of trolling, like the one made for April 1st.

Needed all five knew it was a dalek episode from the second picture and had scenes of the episode in my head too, but couldn’t at all remember which doctor or season it was, so I just guessed dark stuff until I got it

In two I thought the statue on 1 could be nightmare in silver, but I recognised the green blob as something dalek-y, I remember getting it as a toy with Doctor Who Adventures mag

Okay, I feel very stupid now that I realise that it is a Dalek mutant and not a Rutan! This is why I was confused; to my knowledge, Rutans have never popped up in New Who! But I dismissed it as possibly being a flashback or something.

I suspect I am not alone in sincerely hoping, every year, for a rutan (weirdly a non-spoilery spoiler) to put in a proper appearance in DW again.

Got it in two, although I thought of Curse of the Black Spot on one. An episode I’ve always liked, but is widely seen as meh
