I think they were more joking about it, considering its current Circumstances with Streaming!
I also have the Sonic spork! Was a birthday/Xmas present many years ago, but I’ve never used it
Not the most interesting, but I like having the cassettes of some releases. Plan is to get all the BF ones. Bonus I all these play fine too.
It was more a joke about it not being on iplayer
The pride of my collection has got to be Lungbarrow!
YOU HAVE A COPY OF LUNGBARROw?!?!
I used to own a copy of Lungbarrow, in pretty good condition. But I preferred the £300 I got for it
Pride of my collection is probably just my classic Who blu-rays. I’m a little bit over the whole ‘collecting’ side of my fannish impulses. I have a couple of posters, a large Eaglemoss Dalek, a handful of DVDs and then the classic collection sets.
That was me when I sold my season 19 limited edition for ~200€. I regret it only every other day.
That is so cool! I didn’t even know Big Finish released cassettes.
Very briefly, think they did ones for a few of the early Benny audios too
The first 15 in the Main Range, and the first 5 in the Benny series were released as cassettes. I’ve not seen the Benny ones pop up recently.
I suppose I’m quite happy with the 2 VMAs i own too (Goth Opera and The Dark Path)
I don’t have anything rare but I do have a book that has both Silent Stars Go By and Touched by an Angels. The cover’s very pretty. Got it at a bookstore in 2018 or 2019 and it made me realize that Doctor Who books exist.
I don’t have anything too special but probably my Trial DVD or Kingmaker CD that I got signed at Gally One (by Nicola and Colin for Trial, Nicola and Nev for The Kingmaker)
Or possibly my 13 earring which is like the nicest piece of jewelry I own aside from my wedding ring
I don’t own much rare stuff,
I did pickup a BBC PDA “The Final Sanction” from a charity shop a while ago - not the rarest but cool to have a piece of media from the wilderness years
