I need help deciding what movie to watch next. Immediately next is Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders because it fills a hold. But after that… I thought I’d test out a ranked poll this time. That way I’ve got an order to watch them in. I’ll also be voting in this one, to test out this method.

Thanks for playing. I doubt I’ll use this method again, because honestly, I don’t understand it. I don’t get how the “rounds” work, I can see the votes, but it doesn’t reorganize it into a solid ranking (or if it does, I don’t understand it). So, I’ll just pick one out of the stack for my next one. Whatever I feel in the mood for.

Ah yeah, it’s not ranking, which would like, average the placement of all the voters. Ranked choice looks at everyone’s first place vote, and if there’s not a majority winner, removes whatever option had the fewest first place votes, then looks at the people who put it first’s second place votes instead, and if there’s still no majority winner, keeps going until there is.
It’s interesting for elections, but yeah not a good fit for this sort of thing

Because the Ranked poll thing was so weird and didn’t do what I hoped it would, and because I’ve added a few DVDs to the stack, I’ll put out a regular poll later tonight to determine what movie to watch next.

I have a bit of a more complex query than the usual ‘pick my next story’ that I usually do. I made a Big Finish purchase recently and now own all of the Fifth Doctor boxsets from 2022 onwards. I also own the Wicked Sisters boxset and am heavily considering getting the other two soon so I’ll own every single Fifth Doctor boxset. With that achievement, I want to marathon the Fifth Doctor adventures, going through them all in release order and do a mixture of re-listens and new stories. However I’m worried it’s too much of a commitment, and I’ll be abandoning everything else I’m in the middle of to dedicate probably a few months to this. I’m in the middle of Gallifrey Time War, as well as slowly working my way through every single Torchwood story and don’t really want to abandon those, but at the same time the idea of doing a marathon of my favourite Doctor, and one of the highest quality Big Finish ranges out there is really exciting me. What should I do please help 
- Do the Fifth Doctor marathon
- Don’t do the Fifth Doctor marathon, continue with the usual projects
- Do a combination of the two (although I’m not sure how that would work)
