Three/Martha is an actual banger suggestion, and one that I think could happen very naturally too - just have solo Three overshoot the 70s in the TARDIS and land at UNIT HQ when Martha works there and voilà, they bump into each other and sort out alien invasions and stuff. I think Martha is quite a Third Doctor-style companion (she’s sciency, she works for UNIT, she’s got skills that your average companion doesn’t necessarily have) and I can imagine Three appreciating her far more than Ten ever did.

Definitely, but I’d love to see a story with just Rory and Eleven as well, personally. Rory doesn’t have the rose-tinted view of the Doctor that Amy does, and I’d enjoy seeing their dynamic without her to act as the glue of the trio.

I think 13 and Charley would be really fun! Honestly I’d love to see 13 with any past companion. Liv, Helen, K9, Bill, Leela, Romana, Martha[1]…the list goes on.
I would also love 8 with any of his book companions (I haven’t met Fitz or Anji yet but I’m sure they’re both great)
