Such rich and diverse cinematography! /j
I’ve watched 2. Not sure I have the correct masochistic tendencies to continue…
I just rewatched “Deep Breath” (I watched it once when I was younger, but all I remembered was the bit with the clockwise repair droids not eating in the restaurant), and I love how it’s sci-fi Sweeney Todd, and the Doctor even references Sweeney Todd. I’m sad that it’s the last time the Paternoster Gang appeared on screen.
Currently watching a youtube video supercut of Jacob Wysocki on Make Some Noise
I didn’t much like Deep Breath first time round, but I think was hurting from losing 11, who I adored. I didn’t enjoy the episode or Capaldi much at all. But I rewatched it years later and couldn’t understand what I hadn’t liked - I loved it!
Can’t agree. The Enemy of the World is top-tier Who.
Let me say, I can absolutely see the appeal of it. And as I said, I can absolutely see myself liking it more on rewatch. It just didn’t click for me personally on first watch!
Currently watching some more K9…
Where do you watch it?
Just rewatched Tomb Of The Cybermen. Definitely liked it more than I did on first viewing but… man, the treatment of Toberman still bothers me. Even Li H’Sen Chang wasn’t written this badly.
That third screenshot is actually amazing like wow
He was shocked
He’s just watched the ‘Stop! don’t move’ cliffhanger
That’s one that for sure got overhyped in its missing days, heralded as this lost classic. While I still think it’s pretty good, I think more in the 7 out of 10 range rather than higher like the true greats. The fact that all of the characters who weren’t a Western European or American were the bad guys certainly hasn’t allowed it to age well.
Just said goodbye to Susan
A fantastic companion departure, although I wish she could’ve stayed longer
At least you’re about to meet Vicki!
