As you should be!! (I am not bias because I am like that no no what made you people think I am a creature of the night as well???)
Ohhh that’s awesome!
No no it’s all quite simple, everybody is everybody, i am zagreus, you are zagreus, he is zagreus, she is zagreus and even the snails are zagreus. Everything and nothing is zagreus. makes sense right?
Yes!! That said hearing so many good Things about it makes me quite tempted to get it… NO I shall have to wait.
This never ever happened! All Doctor Who Fans agree on everything, which is that all of Who is actually bad!!
when you’re a… CREATURE OF THE NIIIIIGHT (manifesting somebody gets the reference)
I get it - bloody love that series and the musical was hysterical (with a couple of genuinely good songs).
Just started the War Master series 2, The Master of Callous
I should really finish the newest season actually
Ended up listening to the first four parts of Brain Drain. It fits so perfectly into Season 7 that it might as well be a missing story. Part 4 ended with an intriguing cliffhanger, so I can’t wait to listen to the rest of it tomorrow!
it wasn’t as good. but that’s maybe because, i binged s1/2, s3 i wasn’t in a good mindset so didn’t go online much, but s4 i read AMAZING theories and was let down that the worst theories happened. but yeah, again, it may have been just the fact i was so deep with the theories it let me down.
look for the light makes me cry, meryl streep is such a phenomenal singer and that song is just incredible. it also came out at a horrendous time in my life so it gets me in the feels!
after finally finishing the 9da’s, i’ve got other ranges to finish or tackle! i think i’ll go with the ones where i’ve only got 1 or 2 sets max to binge them before tackling war master or 3das where im quite badly behind. gonna do the classic companions 10th doctor set, 3rd series of rose’s spin-off, lady christina s2 and 3/4 of missy! will i inevitably change this order? absolutely!
Interesting. I have more of less given up on that series. Might try it again.
there’s some phenomenal stories, and boxsets. but also some really not great ones (james kettle…)
I have listened to the first four boxes. I want to finish the rest. Bug there are so many things to listen to.
oh don’t i know it lol, trying to catch up on ranges like the 9das and then its just like woahhh so many other exciting ones i wanna hear.
Gave the whole of Gallifrey season 4 a repeat listen today.
And then just tried something completely different.
“Torchwood Archive” (because it’s the first appearance of Mr. Colchester that I’ve heard good things about)
I’m really doubting whether this was a good start to Torchwood audios (I’ve only listened to “Coffee” before (which is great!)). There’s about 20 minutes left of the second part - is there actually a plot somewhere in here?
About to start The Legend of Baby Yaga in the Fugitive Doctor set.
As far as I can remember The Torchwood Archive was a big roundup of the Committee plotline from the first 12 Torchwood audios. It’s not much of a story beyond that!
When you get to The Story Continues, though, or some recent Main Range audios, Mr Colchester is a joy.
talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever been done before, unafraid to reference or not reference, put it in a blender, etc.
i HIGHLY recommend it to anyone interested, imo the best torchwood seasons are 5-7 by a mile.
Someone needs to write a guide on jumping on points for Torchwood
This story made perfect sense, but it was very clear that a bunch of context was missing
Well that settles things, I’m definitely listening to these once I finish the TV series.
Ooh, listen to Forgotten Lives, More than This and Ghost Mission from the Main Range first!
To be fair you don’t have to, they’re not essential– they just give a wee bit of context for Gwen’s journey between series (and introduce Norton). But they’re really good! Especially More than This which is one of my all time favourites, though mostly for personal reasons.
(Made You Look and We Always Get Out Alive are also great stories for Gwen and Rhys! OK, I’ll stop advertising Torchwood audio now )
