I think I found an advantage of not getting too into expanded Doctor Who. Less Tennant inundation. All I’ve got to be annoyed by is that he became a second main numbered Doctor.
Honestly, I loved David Tennant as Crowley. Book was one I really liked, too, of course, but he was perfect for the role, and perfect with Michael Sheen. Could use more Michael Sheen around, too…
My exact thoughts - he knocks it out of the park every time but I’m tired of the wider world treating him like he’s the pinnacle of all the Doctor should be
I’d be the same way as you and shauny if it was Colin getting roles left and right . Please, David and Peter, help a fellow Doctor out!
Tennant the actor and just as a guy, amazing, including as the Tenth Doctor. Just not a Doctor I’m the most fond of.
Yeah, definitely have to separate the actor from the role. I liked Jenna Coleman more as Johanna Constantine then Clara…
Then Constantine must be god damn amazing, like the best character in the history of characters level.
Well, I did wind up feeling like I wanted a Johanna Constantine spinoff…
Although only two more stories than the Fourth Doctor (who of course is the other most recognisable Doctor to the general public).
It was 100% seen as that from the usual suspects on Gallifrey Base. I believe it’s called confirmation bias…
Never Enough Tennant.
MORE TENNANT
kind of wild when a thread about something completely different winds up having so much conversation about david tennant that there needs to be a whole new thread but the conversation is about how there’s too much of him. i always feel like conversation about how much people don’t want to see more tennant overshadows all the stuff they theoretically do want to see.
