The comic “Herald of Madness” features Tycho Brahe! In quite a prominent fashion  :denmark:
Great story as well :+1:

I read most of 13’s Titan comics recently(everything except Alternating Current, which didn’t come with the Humble Bundle) and I enjoyed them a lot! Jody Houser does such a good job at capturing 13 and the fam’s voices, and the stories fit the comic genre extremely well. I especially enjoyed Hidden Human History, it had similar vibes to a lot of the Chibnall era historicals with how it was teaching you a little bit, but the story felt much more engaging, and I love how it can act as a vampire origin without outright telling you. In general Titan’s 13 comics feels much less fan-servicey than the other ranges, which take any excuse they can to show other Doctor’s faces, returning villains, and companions. The only real ‘returning’ character(before this series becomes a permanent 10th Doctor crossover, which isn’t great), The Corsair, is practically a new character, and is a ton of fun, especially when she’s flirting with 13(at least that’s how I read it)!

Argh I really want to read these!

For anyone interested, the VR game The Runaway has a full playthrough on the official Doctor Who YouTube channel as a 360 video. I highly recommend it, it’s only 11 minutes and it’s more of an ‘experience’ than an actual game, so nothing is really lost in video form. I gave it 4 stars, favorited it, and am now a Volta stan.

I wasn’t aware of this!

That’s great!

Now I won’t have to skip this story!

Nice thanks for pointing this out - I’ve added the link on the Story page and marked this as “available for free” :tada:

It is fun that you can earn this badge without doing any VR at all. I did the non-VR version of The Edge of Time and watched the YouTube video above :joy:

Guess what I’m doing later today (and I have done the VR version or Edge).

I think there is a novel in the PDAs that suggests she would die too, but it may be the same continuity of DWM. I haven’t read it so not much I can say.

It’s possible. I just listed the departures I knew of.

I’ve finally started Thirteen’s comics with A New Beginning, which was great fun!

Why is Mistress of Chaos so hard to find?

Has anyone found a copy for sale online?

Check Amazon. You might find a lot of these there. Or eBay.

Audible tends to be pretty good for the audiobooks, because you can get very cheap deals on their subscription (I just had one where I paid less than 1 Euro for each audiobook, or in some cases even five audiobooks because the target novels sometimes come in collections), you only have to remember to cancel it on time

Been looking at this one myself.

  • Lethbridge-Stewart: Lucy Wilson and the Bledoe Cadets
  • Lucy Wilson Mysteries: The Brigadier and the Bledoe Cadets
And I am so confused. Are they the exact same book with just a slightly different title and different covers?

The publisher’s summary are practically identical for the two books, but when placing one of the books in the basket it ask if you want a copy of the other one as well.

Help! Tardis wiki is inconclusive as is the Candy Jar webshop I feel like :joy: I don’t want to buy two copies of the same book, but on the other hand both books are on sale at the moment.
What should a confused Dane do?

Absolutely see if you can get this one, such a lovely collection of different bits of prose (some of them transcripts of the Lockdown YouTube videos). The one with the Corsair is excellent

The problem is, I’m very anti-Amazon lol

Have you tried Kerblam? It might be a better option!
