Wow that took me all of 5 and a half hours. A lot of these I wasn’t sure for, since I read some of them last year, and others in big chunks so they all blurred together. So uh. Hereabouts

I love how the three of us have put “Moon Graffiti” in our bottom ratings and yet its the one the BBC decided to adapt for audio. It’s just like “The Real Hereward” from the Annuals. Out of all the stories, they chose that one.

I am listening to the audiobook for 1001 Nights in Time and Space, and I must say that some of them are really good. The whole book tells a lot of different stories from new perspectives, and some are meh, but as a whole, the book is really good. There is a prequel that tells the story of how the world in Dots and Bubbles got built that I thought was wonderfully written.

I think the concept of 1001 Nights in Time and Space works perfectly with Paul Magrs’ writing style
All the stories have that kind of fantastical atmosphere, and the stories being so short, literally only a few pages each, makes it only feel more magical, as you’re only getting a small glimpse into each world, but they still add so much to the stories we already know

I’ve read all 3 of the second doctor’s annuals. They aren’t very good.
HOWEVER. World of ice from the second one is the best one. It’s a really good Victoria story and has her on her own trying to save two and Jamie.
I’m fascinated by both versions of short trips though. I’ve mostly read the Christmas ones and listened to the first two seasons, and I think I largely prefer the audio. Deleted scenes from s10 is probably my fav audio so far next to a true gentleman and the deep from s1, and Unit Christmas parties: first Christmas from the Christmas treasury as my fav prose :)
