Please Doctor Who gods, let it be the former :crossed_fingers:

I donā€™t dislike Vincent and the Doctor, but I do think itā€™s massively overrated by the fandom and the wider internet.

I think itā€™s as great as they say ngl. But I would say I like The Day of the Doctor more.

I think itā€™s a perfectly good episode, and it has some powerful scenes, but I canā€™t really fathom putting it on the same level as Day of the Doctor or several other Smith episodes, personally. Itā€™s a pretty straightforward story, the invisible monster seems like it mostly exists to save budget, and I donā€™t really think the central message amounts to much at the end of the day. There are a lot of other episodes, including a few with Smith, which do a much better job juggling having an interesting narrative and effectively commenting on the human condition, IMO.

To be fair, I havenā€™t watched it in a couple of years - if it gets as far in the tournament as I expect it will, Iā€™ll give it another go in case my opinion drastically changes for some reason.
