It’s called plating it makes the dish look more appealing. Much better than the mishmash you call British “food”
If you need to make the food you’ve cooked yourself look more appealing…I question the standard of your cooking…
Dinner at Delta’s…poured into a trough
My wife does 99% of the cooking because she’s an amazing cook. So you take that insult up with her, sir…

I sure hope that coffee isn’t made of crushed girls…
I was wondering if @monkeyshaver was googling something else originally…
Please don’t judge me by your own internet search history
You know, these day’s I’ve usually been buying spices in bags and then filling old spice containers with them, as it’s usually cheaper that way.
I have a feeling that the fact I just put monosodium glutamate in a container identical to one I’ve got salt in might end up being an issue, though. The crystals look different, but I might need to hunt up some way to mark one of them so I remember…
This is exactly what we do. Also, we buy our spices from local sellers, so we support their businesses and buy spices of a higher quality, bigger quantity and better price!
Most of these came from the India Market, so probably not local, but yeah, more spices and better spices, and there are also spices there I wouldn’t get going to a major supermarket. (Especially since indian food is all about spices.)
I also stopped to take a look around an asian grocery store today. Didn’t buy anything, but good prices on rice, noodles, soy sauce, vinegar, and such, so I’ll probably be back. I was just mostly right next to it, since it was by a mall close to me that a job fair was in.
I get so hungry every time I see one of your food posts
I’ve started making sure I’ve eaten first before opening this thread
Honestly, that’s a really good piece of advice
