Greetings,

Have y’all ever had a banana and cheese pizza?

Pizza base, tomato puree, banana slices, mozarella, bake.

This has been called the most heinous meal by several people already, but its surprisingly nice

It is actually a kind of common pizza in Sweden but with the addition of curry powder and sometimes shrimp.

That said I am not a fan

Eeeh, I don’t know. Never tried that pizza but the banana on it sounds suspicious :joy:

They already did on Finland years ago after we won an international pizza contest with the blasphemous rye and reindeer pizza

Now’s that’s a Scandinavian take on pizza :+1:

Banana on pizza triggers an instinctual fight or flight instinct in my brain, but as an avid pineapple on pizza defender, I would be willing to try this mythical banana pizza at least once :eyes:

You have bananas in your Flygande Jakob. You can probably have it on pizza to.

Flygande Jakob is a Swedish casserole composed of chicken, whipping cream, Heinz chili sauce, bananas, roasted peanuts, bacon and Italian salad seasoning, which is a peculiar seasoning blend available only in Sweden.

Why does this sound so amazing  brb booking my flight to Sweden

It is amazing. We actually discussed it here a while ago. :star_struck:

This is what it looked like last time I made it :grinning:

Good point! I’ve never seen banana pizza here in Finland, though, so we probably have to make it ourselves

It’s great and works well without the Italian seasoning thingy. We don’t have it in Finland, so you could prepare the dish without travelling to Sweden ;)

I don’t even know what seasoning it is. But @Meara, if you come to Sweden, DM me and I can buy you a beer!
