As a 60s-head, I of course plan to have all the Reconstructions finished, only 5 more to go and all of them are finished (can’t wait to go out of my way to watch power of the daleks for the fourth & fifth time 
)
But now let’s see how well the Marco Polo Recon is!

Ended up watching both the Marco Polo recon and the two Episodes of Planet of the Giants.
The former is quite solid, while I could tell a lot of it was cut, it was done in a manner where it wasn’t too noticeable for somebody who might have not seen this Serial before, although I get why this was massively cut, I still vastly prefer the Original, although if one is a bit put off by the 7 Episodes, I wouldn’t be mad at all if they went with this one honestly.
Planet of the Giants was a bit harder at times, certain shots were used quite often and while I get that, it was at times a bit tiring seeing the same Close-up of Hartnell five times. That said it was an interesting experience, I think I prefer the Original that we ended up getting, but I am grateful to see this small insight of an alternative take of said serial. Whoever did the Hartnell Voice was quite good, dare I say truly remarkable, kudos to them

I’ve fixed it! It shouldn’t be in all the sets (otherwise it shows up twice) so I just removed them all and added the Telesnap set.

Well we discussed this and yes it’s how it may work in the future but currently it only marks the original as being complete if you’ve completed a variation, not the other way around.
It will take some work to make it work the other way around. It’s on my list!

Are there any visual differences between the two PotD recons, or are they visually identical?

You mean the animations? The original from 2016 was done in a bit of a rush, and the animation team wasn’t entirely happy with it. So they were given another opportunity to animate it, and the newer one is more detailed and lined better with the other later animations. I don’t know how big the difference is because I’ve only watched the newer one.
