I think there’s also something to be said about the difference between a site like this and kindle or apple books
Those can check if you do any reading each day, where tardis guide can only check if you complete something each day
It’s a lot easier to keep a streak up by sitting down with a book for 5 mins than it is to listen to an hour long story each day
So if we don’t do logs everyday because it’d be busywork, a weekly streak is the best option. Still fun and wouldn’t stress people out, hopefully
I don’t think I’d like this feature. It’s just sounds stressful and like a way to force more engagement with the site which isn’t necessary. When Tardis Wiki was on Fandom, there was a feature that tracked your editing streak. I got it to one year and immediately stopped (it actually didnt’t get tracked at all past a year, which was good) as it was a pain to keep going and I would often just make really small dud edits to keep the streak going which always felt bad to do. I wouldn’t want to repeat a similar thing on this site.
