Pinky and the Brain style?

I do plan on building that.

But this is taking all my time at the moment!!

Don’t hold your breath…

I actually might even do a Kickstarter or something when the time comes. Because this site is a labour of love and I’m currently running it at a loss, but if I start making spin-offs I’ll need to actually recoup some costs

Early DS9 is fine, I’d say especially if you’ve seen it already. You see things in it you didn’t notice, or didn’t realize the significance of the first time. It’s miles above TNG S1. I’m currently on S2 on a rewatch with friends, we finished season 1 recently, and I really don’t think it’s all that rough at all.

I wouldn’t skip Emissary, Past Prologue, A Man Alone, Captive Pursuit, Dax, The Nagus, Battle Lines, Progress, or Duet from season 1, as they’re all either good, some even great, or important episodes, and even plenty of the others aren’t bad either (even Move Along Home). The only episode of Season 1 I’d say I dislike is If Wishes Were Horses. It’s a lot of good world and character building, that first season. I won’t pretend Seasons 3-7 aren’t better, but I’ll always defend the first two as still being good.

I can picture it now. Daystrom Guide, or something. I’m curious how the canon and non-canon Trek will be handled in such a thing. Would it use Wiki terminology of Alpha (the canon, the TV series and films) and Beta (any other licensed works), and have some kind of distinguisher?

I respectfully disagree. I find it treads water for far too long.

At least it’s not treading water for 7 seasons like Voyager.

Voyager had so much promise. Some random episodes are “peak Trek” while most of it is as dull as dishwater.

Although it does have one of my favourite Trek characters.

I do like Seven of Nine. Easily the best to come out of Voyager. Opinions are definitely mixed on the direction they took her character in Picard, but an interesting character nonetheless in her debut series.

Season 1: Meh, but fine.
Season 2: Dear God, why?!!?
Season 3: not even gonna bother watching.

I like Season 3 more than the first two, but in terms of Seven the later two seasons sort of did a 180 on her character.

So I watched “Paralax” (VOY 1.2) last night. It’s the one where the ship gets stuck in a temporal anomaly and they’re trying to detirmine who will become Chief Engineer. Really enjoyable and a good use of temporal theory.

Don’t remember it well, since it’s been several years since I watched Voyager. But I think I remember, “well, it’s going to be the one who’s name appears in the titles.”

To be perfectly honest, while I was already contemplating becoming a patron/donating, this news, regardless of how far off project inception may be, might be what pushes me over the edge

Can’t wait for the “Study of Klingon” category on the Star Trek Forum.

Got all but two. I don’t like the lack of Sisko or 12 in the picture.

Ah yes. Do you make B’Elanna the engineer, or the jerkface whose nose she broke?

Not exactly the most difficult of decisions, really.
