To be fair you both went pretty far on that post and it’s very normal in tumblr culture to block people you disagree with/who annoy you. I also think Ianto and Gwen are best friends and it’s very much supported in the text, but you do you I guess.

I think to be fair, the TV Series doesn’t have much chance to show us the kind of things you’d get in a real life workplace, like meetings in pubs or corporate nights out. If Torchwood was real life, Gwen and Ianto may have bonded as friends over a lovely meal at a restaurant, or a trip to the cinema.

They do go the cinema one, that very much was a thing that happened, but yes, you’re right. Most of it for me is in the little moments of calm in COE, where they tease each other and joke around, which feels a lot more familiar than a simple friendly coworkers situation to me.

I’m very unaware of Tumblr culture lol. Any other app you can have disagreements with a literal fascist and be at eachother’s necks hurling insults…and then they still won’t block you lmao.
Plus they kept on replying. I would’ve left it at the Shrouded pic honestly but it seemed they were genuinely wanting to discuss it. Only then to get mad and block me. I said sorry to them if that helps.

I never got how this is something people will get angry about. Can’t people just enjoy one thing, while others enjoy something else? Without having to convince people of their own opinion?

Controversial opinion perhaps… But I actually like the breathing in the new theme! It’s so weird, it feels right. But I just have a lot of fun with the composition, like the piano key on the companion’s name.
