Hello, denizens of forum.tardis.guide! Every Friday at 8PM (British time - currently BST) in the TARDIS.guide discord server, I host what started as a PROBE watchalong, but has since stretched and exploded into a watchalong of all BBV and reeltime content! Last night, we watched the first episode of the Stranger, which famously uses barely legal copyright laws evasion tactics to start the Doctor - sorry, The Stranger - and his companion, Miss Brown. Then, some people stayed afterwards to watch me watch K9, for some reason, and then, well, something miraculous happened.
We began to write.
We opened a Google doc and we wrote and wrote, dear friends - a whopping five pages of what has been described as “the punishment the universe has brought upon me”, “miles ahead of the first project Twilight”, “controversial”, and “absolute cinema” - and that all by the same person! Thanks for reading, @Owen ! There are already talks in place, in our heads, for having this published by Arcbeatle Press, or adapted into a Big Finish audiobook read by Nicholas Briggs. The spiritual successor of the wildly successful Zagreus 2, this masterpiece will surely go down in history!
Thank you to all the mods for not stopping us, @JayPea especially for her high praise and support of this project (he called it an “incoherent mess”!) and, of course, the other writers. Aside from myself, this was also largely written by @Villain_Coded_Queer , @brax_iatel , and @Craged . Erimem’s Servant was also there but I don’t know his Guide username and also he left early ): he missed the magical wonderful thing we made…
A thing that, while tagged here as fanfiction, isn’t. It is important to note that we never technically used any copyrighted concepts or characters. This is no more a work of fanfiction than The Stranger!
