& the good thing is, they are single releases so not too expensive.

Yeah thats what im glad that they arent forcing you to get it as a boxset which would be like 40 euros here.

One thing that I really like about 13’s era is that the fan reception and discussion felt significantly lighter, but now, it feels like there’s still so much left to discover and discuss.

I loved waiting each week to watch the episodes as they were coming out, and despite being scared that I won’t like them as much on a rewatch, you being super enthusiastic about her is awesome and stopping me being so worried lol

One thing I can say (this is just my experience but) Thirteen’s era is very rewatchable, and every time I rewatch an episode, I love it even more. You can disover new details and layers, and it’s something I do all the time.

One of my favorite things about Arachnids in the UK is watching all the little bits that happen in the background. Ryan is an absolute goof in that one.

That episode has a genuinely great dilemma and people always boil it down to be too simple.
The problem isn’t “there are big evil spiders” it’s that the environment is being disturbed, and the spiders that are being created are spreading pheromones throughout the city. If they’re not dealt with, they’re going to wreck serious havoc on the ecosystem, the human population, and possibly even the world. Sealing them in the safe room does not suffocate them (who would design a safe room to do that?), but it isolates them and allows them to live the rest of their natural lives. There’s 6 months of food and water within, long enough for them to live out their life cycles without affecting the outside world. Is it ideal? No, but it’s the best solution the Doctor has at the time. I still have yet to hear of an alternate solution that is feasible with the time and resources available. I could maaaaaaybe see them being brought to a new planet with the tardis, but then they’re just going to mess up that new planets ecosystem!
Also, I love Ryan’s comment when Jack Robinson pulls out a gun, cute continuity bit.

On flux - it’s a bit messy in parts but i like the return of classic villains in 13s era. Sontarians, Judoon etc
Love it or hate it i like them doing a story long arc - it was a change of pace from what i as a mostly modern who fan was used to

The whole argument people have that 13 was cruel to put the spiders in the safe room instead of shooting them pisses me off so bad because it only makes sense if you ignore the fact that everybody in the episode including the spider expert and even the guy who wants to shoot them agrees that it’s more humane, and when one of them is shot it is writhing in pain for a few seconds before it dies.

Now there’s been 3 companions called Sinclair lol
“I’m calling you Yaz because we’re friends now” was so aggressive love it
“I’m alien and I’m here” love it when the Doctor just straight up says their not human
“Can we have the lights and siren on?” she looks so excited 
“Never go anywhere that’s just intitials” mate the TARDIS is literally initials
Thirteen looks so good in a suit even a ripped one 
She so chaotic I love her that scene with Ryan’s phone is hilarious
I love this description of regeneration
Why does she keep looking at her sonic like it has a screen
What’s with the amnesia Doctor, I thought that was Eight’s thing 
The crane guy saying all those affirmations is hilarious cos yes, someone does want you - to kill you
“Don’t worry, I’ve got a plan.” I love the doctor improvising plans they’re always so crazy
the plan WAS crazy

Grace would have been a great companion 
That whole conversation abt thirteen’s family I was just imagining her having brax in her head winding her up
