The Taking of Chelsea 426 is a New Series Adventure. The Rutan and the swimming pool sounds like it’s the Quick Read The Sontaran Games.
The All-New Doctor Who Book Club Podcast is doing Royal Blood from The Glamour Chronicles trilogy in their episode dropping middle of the month, and they did Big Bang Generation a few years ago.

Royal Blood is very good (if a bit bleak), and is probably my favorite 12 & Clara book. Big Bang Generation is very fun, but extremely messy. Deep Time is just kind of ok, and is full of weird moments like the crew of an advanced research starship needing to have the concept of a supernova explained to them in basic terms, or the Doctor being weirdly against tatoos because they’re unnatural
The trilogy aspect doesn’t work at all, since each book seems to have a totally different and wildly contradictory idea of what The Glamour even is, and there’s no interconnection between them. There’s not even a clear reading order. It feels like each writer was told to write a book featuring “something called The Glamour” with no other instruction, and they didn’t communicate between themselves about what that meant

You could justify the tattoo thing as being from that whole “3’s tattoo is actually a Time Lord Exile Mark” if you wanted.
Did you write that criticism of the books years ago? Because I remember reading the exact same thing years ago upon release.

Hadn’t the Glamour already appeared in Ghosts of India and The Glamour Chase?
The rant is much more along the lines of “they defile the natural body” in a way that makes it painfully obvious that the book was written by known transphobe Trevor Baxendale
I read them for the first time last year
Possibly, but if anything that makes the inconsistancies even weirder

I had a lot of fun with it, thoguh like it was already said it doesnt really deserve the name trilogy. I would agree that Deep time is the worst of the three. The other two were definitely worth the read imo (not that I regret having read Deep Time, it was mostly fine). The setting of Royal Blood I enjoyed particularly. Big Bang Generation could be a bit confusing at times, not knowing Benny and her friends so well, but it was fun meeting them all.
Interesting according to the tardis wiki it does. Seems like I have to hunt down these books now to see how it is depicted there. Like NyssaUnbound already said the only thing the Glamour had in common between the three books, was the name and that it was some sort of powerful artifact.

At least Glamour Chase was written by Glamour Chase was written by Gary Russel, so there might be some overlap with The Big Bang Generation?

Gary also wrote the Glamour’s introductory novel, Ghosts of India.
The only Glamour book I’ve read is The Glamour Chase, but I have the Glamour Chronicles trilogy on my bookshelf.
Perhaps I’ll give them a read sooner rather than later

I enjoyed Big Bang Generation. I knew Benny, and thought the novel did a decent job explaining who Benny’s freinds were. For reference though, BBG takes place between the boxsets Missing Persons and The New Adventures of Bernice Summerfield Volume 1.
