New Guide - Stories set in the Roman Empire

A new guide is live on the site, detailing the many stories set in and around the Roman Empire.

Have a read and let me know if I’ve missed anything obvious!

It’s a nice, comprehensive list. I can’t see anything obvious missing, admittedly I don’t have an encyclopedic knowledge of DW.

Maybe this comic, but it’s not in the TARDIS Guide either…

Oh, and looks like this one?

Not sure how that one slipped through my net.

The DWA comic strip is just a fleeting visit (but may get added when they all get added to the site).

Definitely seems pretty comprehensive. Had a few bouts of “How about Sarah Jane and the Temple of Eyes… oh wait, no, that’s listed.”…

Marcipor is from 63 bc so that’s too early to count but it’s still the same civilization

Churchill and poppea are my dads fave historical character

Doctor who should do a story titled the Epopee of Poppea

@GaiaMIX is right, you’re missing Tartarus. I also don’t know if you want to add the Cicero series from Big Finish, or if that counts as too far afield.

The Cicero series isn’t on TARDIS guide.

Again, not sure how I missed Tartarus!

Ooh, The Last Days (currently undated) takes place during the Seige of Masada, which can be narrowed down to 73 BCE!

I didn’t have my copy to hand and was too lazy to google Masada. Thanks for the info!
