These are known as the Tim Trilogy. He’s got quite the life, this Tim! First, we meet him as a diligent worker; then, somehow, he freezes himself; and finally, he forgets about his own son!

One from each Doctor who got a season on TV:

  1. The Key of Marinus: The first single-episode story.
  2. The Mara Terror: The first appearance of the dodgy snake.
  3. Terror of the Autos: I think this was a story in Big Finish’s Paternoster Gang series.
  4. The Bran of Morbius: How he keeps so healthy.
  5. Kind: After the Mara reforms.
  6. The Ark of the Rani: Where she intends to keep her experiments.
  7. The Curs of Fenric: Not quite as scary as his wolves.
  8. The Log Game: No, I’m not going to say it.
  9. Urn Left: Caecilius’ family’s one regret.
  10. Flesh and Tone: Turlough in PoF, maybe?
  11. Mile: How far away you want those emojibots to be.
  12. It Takes You Awa: The same story, but set in the North of England.
  13. The Tar Beast: Ripping off one of the worst TNG episodes.
  14. 3 Yards: Easier to see, but harder to avoid.
