I wish I had more of these but I only have one I picked up in a charity shop and a bunch of the freebies. I wish I had the time or money to get more of the range.
I’m not a fan of trying to rate something unless I’ve just finished it. Details fade too quickly.
But I’ve marked all the ones I’ve collected and read. Which is pretty much all of them (except one that’s been ordered but hasn’t arrived, and part 1 of that story, which I won’t read before part 2 shows up).
But very exciting to feel like I’ve helped us take one more step along the Road to 10,000.
Down, down, down the road Down the 10,000 stories road…
Bumping this - added all the short stories too now!
(Some of them appear in the wrong order, this is because they are really quite messy and some stories were released in different order to the book order… they can be fixed at a later date!)
Grrr…I realize now that I managed to leave out one of the short stories.
The Lethbridge-Stewart Short Story Collection 2 contains a story called Gone Fishin’. It was actually the winner of that year’s contest, and the silhouette fishing on the book’s cover is because of that story.
For some reason it’s not listed on the TARDIS Wiki page, so I missed putting it on the upload page. So, lemme ask…
There isn’t a page. Here’s a pic from Candy Jar’s page for the book. You can see how it talks about this story and lists the rest separately (and says there are 8 stories when there are actually 9). Think that explains how it got overlooked in the Wiki.
Mildly sorry for the tangent, but it’s crazy how the Candy Jar Books publisher, head of Gallifrey One, and proprietor of this website are all named Shaun! I’m not even sure I know a Shaun in real life, so this coincidence seems crazy to me! Is being named Shaun the secret to nerd success?
Sweet! If you’re talking about what order they’re in within the book, Gone Fishin’ is first, followed by the other 8 as shown in that screenshot above. Can’t say I care about the order, heck I feel bad I’ve caused such a ruckus over one 14-page story!
I can see you’re really working hard to bring a little joy into what is a particularly grueling work week for me. Very thoughtful and much appreciated!
