Hi I'm weboftime

Hello  I’m “weboftime”, go by they/them.

Been a fan since I first started watching the show back in 2005 as a kid, been trying to catch every episode on release since. Favourite Doctors would have to be between 9, 12 and 8 (currently getting through all of 8’s Big Finish stories). I also really enjoy 6 and 7, and I’m looking forward to hearing 13’s audio stories coming out in July.

I haven’t seen a lot of classic who, mostly just a couple of stories from each Doctor. I’ll see them all eventually though hopefully. Most recent story I watched was all of Trial of a Time Lord. Really enjoyed it.

I have a big interest in Gallifrey lore and stuff about the Doctor’s past (no matter who does what with it lol), so I’m equally interested in stuff like the Leekley Bible, The Timeless Children and Lungbarrow (which is currently staring at me from my shelf, I have yet to read it).

Trial of a Time Lord is great. Of the four, what’s your favorite serial?

Well, I physically own everything up to Ravenous 4 but have only listened up to The Vengeance of Morbius so far. Getting through them rather slowly aha

I like bits and pieces from all of them, but I’d have to say Mindwarp is my favourite

As far as I’m aware, there’s an even rarer fan reprint out there too. Like I’ve only seen 2 of the reprint ones on eBay

I love that one too, I say, knowing full well I would have produced this same response for any of the four choices you could have said.

Toes.

Welcome to our little corner of the Multiverse.

Have you discovered the Gallifrey series from Big Finish yet? It’s very good and features Romana, Leela and K9. You’ll find lots of fans of the series on here.

Also, Dark Gallifrey: Morbius is an excellent look at ancient Gallifrey.

Yeah! I’ve recently listened to the first 3 stories of the Gallifrey series. Got given a few of the newer stories by a friend but I want to get through them all from start to finish. Dark Gallifrey: Morbius sounds fascinating though, can’t wait to catch up. Would be fun to talk about with other people :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

We’ve done the first three series of Gallifrey for the Audio > Audio Club. Feel to hop into any of those topics whenever. We also have a dedicated Gallifrey topic: Gallifrey - The Audio Series and a dedicated topic for Dark Gallifrey: Morbius (Dark Gallifrey - Morbius Discussion).

Welcome! I hope you have fun here!

I hope you enjoy reading Lungbarrow, it’s one of my favourite DW books, it’s just insane, I adore it! And please tell us when you listen to more gallifrey because that series is everything to me, I love it so, so much. (And if you’ve listened to the first three so far, then A Blind Eye is next which is just amazing)
