Hello ~ I'm Lewis

Hello! I’m Lewis, from the UK.

I stumbled across this website via someone on Bluesky. I love everything about this guide! I already know I’m gunna sink hours into looking around on here

My favourite Doctors are Hartnell, McCoy, and Tennant. I found Doctor Who in 2006, and have been along for the ride ever since.

Looking forward to seeing many of you around the place :slightly_smiling_face:

Have a big welcome, Lewis!

It’s nice to have you joining us! I hope you like it here

What are some of your favourite episodes? And have you delved into the extended universe of audios, books and comics already?

I’m pretty much TV-only, apart from a couple of deviations. I can’t keep up with extended universe stuff. Tricky to pick favourites but some of them include The Aztecs, Remembrance of the Daleks, Gridlock, Heaven Sent, The Five Doctors, Earthshock, and Logopolis. It always depends on my mood

I’ve listened to Master and Dust Breeding, from Big Finish, and I loved them both. When it comes to books, I prefer non-fiction: The Writer’s Tale, Script Doctor, the About Time series, etc.

Welcome to our little corner of the Internet, Lewis! Hope you find it cozy here. I do. I practically live here now. (Pasts the sofa and put on Scherzo for soothing effect )

I don’t think anyone can. I try though. I have like 50 or 60 stories on my net story section… Tell me if when you get into the same situation. TG does this to people.

Thank you @deltaandthebannermen - it’s great to be here!

@AlfieSigma I won’t get sucked into the extended universe stuff, so I’m good. I enjoy experience bits and pieces through trailers, clips on YouTube, etc. so that tides me over! Love being able to track everything here though. It’s way more exhaustive / extensive than I thought!

You saying you’re immune to FOMO?! :exploding_head: Such a rare trait in this day and age… I hope I have more of it

@AlfieSigma Ha! I struggle with audio-only stuff anyway (even if I play something in the background, I lose track or lose interest quickly). I’m too much of a visual person (same reason I need recons with still images at least, rather than just narrated soundtracks). So that sort of sets me free

Plus, there’s just way too much expanded universe stuff that I gave up worrying about it all many years ago :joy:

For me, there’s enough TV stuff to enjoy and rewatch, and anything else is a bonus if I stumble across it and enjoy it!

I fell lucky, @sircarolyn, as it was the second classic story I ever watched - and I loved it!

Tell me about it  that won’t stop me, however! There’s so much great, weird, terrible and fun stuff to explore!

Great favourite picks! The Aztecs ia fantastic, and Remembrance is another gem. Oh, and don’t listen to the Heaven Sent haters around here, they aren’t to be trusted  /j
