Hello! Question (if you’re willing to talk)
What in particular do you enjoy about the '60s Doctors/stories compared to other eras?
I enjoy the freedom and creativity it had compared to any other era of the show not to say everything after couldn’t be creative or good but I find that the 60s could do so much stuff that the show doesn’t really venture into nowadays like The Mind Robber or The War Games, the only thing comparable to me when it comes to pure freedom is the wilderness years.
The companions and their dynamics with The Doctor are some of the best in the show Ian, Barbara, Susan, Vicki, Steven, Dodo, Jamie, Victoria & Zoe are just all characters I really gel and they make the era feel so much more alive than some of the later ones even
Black & White, I adore the B&W there are so many shots that look so much more cinematic because of it and I just think the show really suits black & white as it lends a certain creep factor, and I also find that in the colourisations it loses something out of B&W (although the editing of those plays a part too)
Just finished Master Of Callous, I absolutely love the series so far I can’t wait to continue!
I highly recommend checking out Wild Noir Yonder!!
