Before my current non-DW hyperfixation completely took over my brain earlier this year, I’d been meaning to start an 8th doctor (approximate) chrono timeline based on the one i’d cobbled together for a powerpoint party and my own spreadsheet endeavours. I have the bare bones of it somewhere in a google doc and would be happy to collaborate with anyone who wants to help (and probably is more knowledgeable in 8’s era than my sporadic dips into it)
Well I’ve actually just written a whole Guide to the Thirteenth Doctor’s EU because I was bored. If you’re interested in this @shauny I can DM it to you
This topic also exists if you want to compare:
I am prepared to make a Meddling Monk all stories guide simply for my own amusement.
Yes, please do
Enjoy a brand new guide on the site:
The Middle Ages!
Great guide! I had fun reading through it.
The tiniest of corrections—Mike Yates doesn’t go to the abbey in A Sting in the Tale, it’s just Four solo and relating his adventure to Yates. (But I know you’re not the biggest fan of Nest Cottage )
I love these guides (and the location tags) because I make new connections between stories. It even deepens my own understanding of history! Who said DW is no longer educational?
Thanks, I probably worded it badly when I wrote it. Shall correct.
The Phoenicians is set in 814 BC – a long time before the Middle Ages – so it should not be on this guide. I think you may have thought it was set in 814 AD instead, given its placement in the chronological order.
Other than that, I think this guide is very useful!
Oh now where did I get that dating from? I’ll have to check - probably misread a wiki somewhere.
