Hello! I’m Jo and I’ve been a Dr Who fan for 7 years now. My favourite era are the Wilderness Years and I love discovering all the fan stuff from the 80s-00s, even if it’s sometimes bad.
I’m currently reading the EDAs but hit a snag after The Ancestor Cell. I haven’t read many VNAs but Dead Romance is perhaps my favourite “we can’t say Doctor Who” Doctor Who book. I even made a Benny-style cover for it:
I like drawing fanart for more obscure parts of Dr Who canon (or not canon, it’s a loose term around these parts), and I’ve recently joined up with about 30 other such individuals and we want to do a fanzine focusing on it. Anyway, I’m keeping up to date with the TV show but on new Big Finish releases I am very very behind (apart from Torchwood. Main Range is the best release format I’m so glad they’re still doing it for Torchwood, it’s very good.) I really ought to catch up on Benny and Gallifrey but beyond that I find it hard to care for any of the bigger stories these days.
