Genesis of a Monster

Almost certainly not, it was a very silly headcanon that got floated when Dot and Bubble released that I kind of love.

I still need to watch Genesis of the Daleks. I haven’t seen any Classic, but I think Tom Baker is scary looking, so I sort of especially don’t watch his tenure.
(That, and the bigger reason of me disliking Douglas Adams.)
I will say, it really, really bothers me that the sapient inhabitants of Skaro are white. Oh, BBC in the 1960s, lore reason this, lore reason that, blah blah blah, I still think if you write a planet with a hot or sunny climate, you should know how melanin production tends to work. And as far as I’m aware, most of Skaro’s landmass is in that hot climate area.

The original Skaro in The Daleks isn’t shown to have a hot climate and nor is it in Genesis.

The Daleks takes place in a jungle, a famously very warm climate. Genesis takes place after it’s been bombed to bits, so I take environmental factors with a grain of salt. Very easy fix here.
