The Six Doctors is a ‘lost classic’ by Terrance Dicks, revealing the original conception of The Five Doctors. Based on newly discovered scripts and treatments by Terrance Dicks - perhaps the most beloved Doctor Who author of all - Simon Guerrier’s novelisation of The Six Doctors reveals the original conception of The Five Doctors, a radically different take on one of the most celebrated Who adventures ever told. ‘Play the game, Doctor. Destroy your other selves!’ Fireballs tear through time and space. Each one hunts down a different incarnation of the Doctor… ready to erase them in an instant. But one Doctor is offered a terrible alternative. He can not only survive but live forever - if he agrees to help destroy his other selves. One Doctor. One timeline. One victor. The Fourth Doctor would usually refuse without hesitation. But after escaping E-Space he feels his life running out and knows he is nearing the end of his time. With nothing to lose, he accepts his role in the deadliest game of all…

Just realised these were posted elsewhere, but hey. The Six Doctors sounds very intriguing to me, especially “based on newly discovered scripts and treatments by Terrance Dicks.” :face_with_monocle:

Oooh, these look intriguing! And amazing that if they’ve found new scripts and stuff that Big Finish didn’t get there first!!

Yeah I remember the scripts being found, he posted little segments from it.

I remember really interesting bit about old doctors retiring to a sort of mental Cul-De-sac!

I think Briggs said he wasn’t interested in adapting it, but I’m very interested in this novelisation!

They ‘adapt’ a draft script for Genesis of the Daleks into a half hour bit of dialogue and then some people reading stage directions… and yet aren’t interested in full scripts for renowned ‘lost’ stories??

I got these and the Retroduction set and the Retroduction set arrived first, I really like it! So nostalgic for my childhood and I fear I may have to buy into the ongoing Doctor sets… I just hope 8’s has at least 1 BF character. Eaglemoss made Figurines of Liv and Lucie, so anythings possible!

Never got the appeal of Funko Pop. But 10 and the Tardis and 15 actually look kind of good.

Never used to collect Funko Pops but got into them when I tried the Funko Fusion game. Like the look of these. I’ll probably get the Tenth Doctor TARDIS one, and maybe a Dalek. I think it would probably cost too much to get them all.

Interesting to see this (though these stories were collected very recently) coming out, hope it continues. I personally would have started with the first volume of the 8 run and maybe jumped around to the starts of other runs a la the Marvel Epic Collections but I guess starting at the start works too.

Timelash is the fifth serial of the 22nd season in the British science fiction television series Doctor Who, which was first broadcast in two weekly parts on BBC1 on 9 and 16 March 1985. It is, to date, the only television Doctor Who story to have a score been composed by a woman. In the serial, the Borad (Robert Ashby), the mutated leader of the planet Karfel, plots to start a war with the Bandril race which would wipe out both the Bandrils and Karfel’s population so that the Borad could repopulate it with his own kind to rule the planet.
