Pictured below is the traditional student cap thousands of people in Finland wear today and tomorrow. This is the cap we receive upon graduating from upper secondary school. You’re allowed to wear it starting from April 30th at 6 pm until September 30th at 6 pm (though most people wear it only during the two days we celebrate May Day/Valborg). Mine turns 10 years old this year and it’s already much less white than it was back when I got it. I’ve seen seniors with caps that are practically yellow! The emblem on the front is the coat of arms of my university.
Tomorrow is the day when peiple (mostly students) usually gather in parks to have picnic together.
The second picture shows a handsome model who I hired to wear the cap so that ut would look nice!

Is it normal that everytime someone acts like they know so much about DW but they actually don’t (not that I’m saying I know that much , I don’t , but I don’t act like I do ) I actually get so annoyed I hope I’m not alone in this , which is why I’m sharing it here because I feel bad

I don’t think I’ll ever be able to do that, there are topics I’m deliberately leaving unseen because they contain spoilers (like the huge Gallifrey one for example) and I need to read later!!

In fairness I do have at least 30 muted, and I at least skim read most new topics as they come up and I’ve been here basically from the start so my backlog was mainly comics chat that I hadn’t looked at at all

Click the bell at the bottom of a topic and you can change the alert you get for it - muting it means you never see it again! I think you can also do it in your forum account settings under the tracking tab

For threads you created, bumping it down below watching so it doesn’t tell you every time someone comments that there’s a reply to you can be useful, too…
