I am kinda surprised this hasn’t been done before, but well time to do it.
Disclaimer: I am aware of some Songs outside the Show itself, such as Doctor in Distress, but I think those deserve their own Category in the Future. Also, there are some Stories with plenty of Songs, so only one Song for each Story
I am sure I probably missed a few Songs, so see it as a small Collection and feel free to talk about your own personal favorites that I miss down below :sob:

In-universe songs only? (eg. no “Song for Ten” or “Love Don’t Roam” etc?)

I think “The Stowaway” (Voyage of the Damned) should be on the list, as it was sung by someone on the Titanic in the episode.

There are plenty of Songs, so I thought it would be the best to only go for some sung by Characters in the Stories themeselves.

You know I have actually been in the pro camp for a proper musical episode of Doctor Who. But looking at this list of songs…

Btw best version of the Venusian Lullaby is in the last story of the Peladon boxset :grin:

Bear in mind that besides “Here’s To the Future”, Delta and the Bannermen had “Rock Around the Clock”, “Singing the Blues”, “Why Do Fools Fall in Love”, “When the Red, Red Robin”, “The Honeysuckle and the Bee”, “Mr. Sandman”, “Goodnight, Sweetheart”,"That’ll Be the Day, "Only You, "Lollipop, “Who’s Sorry Now?”, and “Happy Days Are Here Again”.

It’s fairly underrepresented here.

I thought about including some other Delta Songs but then decided against it, since that very well could be its own Poll (in Case if we don’t have one already :sob:)

Abigail’s song for me, makes me teary-eyed!! I actually didn’t really care for A Christmas Carol much in my teens when I would rewatch a Christmas ep every year it would usually be The Runaway Bride but nowadays it’s ALWAYS A Christmas Carol. Funny how much rewatching can change your opinion!

I like the song in The Rings of Arkhaten more than the story!
I also love Foxes’ version of Don’t Stop Me Now on Mummy on the Orient Express, although I prefer the original.
