Went with the Zygon 2 Parter and Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead. It was still hard to choose. UtL/BtF is easily in my Top 5 for 2 parters.

My favourites in order are weat/tdf, utl/btf, tia/dotm, spyfall, tpo/tbb. Especially I find the structuring of all these really good as they’re each single stories with 2 distinct parts that feel different in tone or setting.

I voted for The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit and Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead.
The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit I love for how thematic it is and its setting. The palnet orbiting a black hole? Very interesting. The Ood are a fantastic species and the Beast being left unexplained is perfect. The story is grim and claustrophobic, so atmospheric. Always felt a bit classic who to me as well, I adore this story.
Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead is perfect. The Vashta Narada are such a great concept and the way they blend with the crews ghosting thing, River Song is introduced perfectly and it offers such an incredible glimpse into the Doctors future. Donna has her own tragic side story here. Everything about it is just so good.
Coming in third would be Bad Wolf/The Parting of the Ways for me.

Voted for WEiT/TDF and the Series 6 Opening Two Parters here. I do think the latter is quite underrated. Big love for the Under the Lake Two Parter too!
Looking at this list kinda makes me sad how we kinda have ditched the Two Parter Format minus for the finale, considering most of them I’d argue here are at the very least solid.
