I’m not sure whether I’m crazy or a genius but I came up with a crossover idea of Doctor who and The Mask. I think the Mask fits that spooky and campy vibe Doctor Who is known for. My idea is UNIT has The Mask in the black archive, a rogue employee finds the mask and chaos ensues.

Imagine if Captain Jack Harkness finds the mask. Like it’s established the mask does seem to have a mind of it’s own so I wonder what it would think about a immortal wearing the mask. There could also be a nice comparison about unwanted power with Jack both getting immortal and the mask. Something to work with there.

Love how this idea was workshopped, now only question is what Doctor should be in the story? Would have to be a nuwho doctor for obvious reasons
I think eleventh doctor fits well because not only were we robbed of a 11 and Jack story, I also think the mask fits neat into the magical realism that era had

I do feel any Doctor in the story is likely to end up interacting with the mask as well.
My mind ends up coming back to 13, who could be said to already be wearing a mask…

Well I had a idea, instead of the nekross feasting on magic, what if they feasted on regeneration energy
I actually think fifteen could fit this crossover really well, because with the Rani the time lords are now out in space whenever which could provide a great motivation for the nekross, I would just have to set it in a AU where fifteen doesn’t regenerate at the end of the reality war

There is an Autism4Autism fanfic flash exchange on AO3 currently (sign-ups are open now until 2 Jul). I’ve put my interest in for some Sixth Doctor, Evelyn, Peri, Thirteen stuff, but is anyone else interested? I’m not affiliated with it, but it’s come across my radar. Anything goes (shippy or not) as long as you headcanon at least one character as autistic.
