My main trope is thst i hate writing ensemble casts so i try to have as few characters as possible
Also, i believe The Asylum is written in second person forced perspective

I’ve spent so much time doing work as a non-fiction writer or writing narrative non-fiction that I’ve always been super nervous to try and actually write a fanfic, but I think I might finally try it out. There was an artist on over on tumblr who did some comics for a super fun au they made, and I ended up writing a very short fic for them. And I’ve kind of wanted to expand it since then, but have felt very overwhelmed by it.

My favorite (fanfic) things to write are…largely exploring how not-ok Romana is throughout Gallifrey and the occasional what-if about that. As in, I must have at least a dozen short fics just on that topic. But I also have a few longer form ones, one of which is a rewrite of the show but if Romana was on her own living the Doctor’s life, and I REALLY should find a way to regularly add chapters to things I’ve already started instead of starting more new stories >_<
The one I’m most proud of though was that time I looked at that one girl who got possessed by daleks in Remembrance of the Daleks and did a character study about how hard her recovery from that was.

I’ve had several ideas floating around in my head, though I usually gravitate to writing about my two favourite original characters Marco and Myron. They both work on the Braxiatel Collection, and were created back when I was consistently going through my big classic Bernice Summerfield series marathon. Stopped the marathon at around Series 8 and haven’t picked it back up yet, but I will at some point.
Marco’s a cloned humanoid from an artificial planet, and Myron is from a near-extinct species who Braxiatel took under his wing aboard the Collection. As per usual with Braxiatel though, his intentions are far from empathetic.
I’ll be happy to share some of this stuff here once I’m confident enough in its completion, should anyone be interested!

I never get any of my ideas out into full stories because I don’t really have time to write for fun anymore, but I still have ideas. Right now I’m toying with a historical story that, if finished, will hopefully end up being a short trip for Spectral Horizons. I also came up with an idea for a fan project, which would be too ambitious to write myself, that’s a sequel to the Audio Visuals Doctor Who audios starring Nick Briggs. It wouldn’t have the Nick Briggs Doctor in it, of course, he’d have to be regenerated (I’m thinking, give him a Time and the Rani style regeneration sequence, maybe using clips from Seven Keys to Doomsday), but after that, it could just pick up where that fanon left off. The first run of stories would be very, very loose adaptations of the fifth season stories, but beyond that, it could go anywhere. Idk, maybe one day I’ll find a team of writers who are interested and I can produce it. Probably not, though.
