Gallifrey will probably be on my Big Finish to do list after I finish with all the regular Doctor Who I have. I’m still on 7, going in Eyespider order with whichever ones I have. I’ll have 8 and War Doctor, I don’t think I have very much modern series derived Big Finish. But after that, when I get there in probably several years time…

I’ve only heard Gallifrey: Enemy Lines, Fourth of March, half of Eighth Doctor: Time War 1, Time in Office and Zagreus, imagine how I feel. (got Velkin) Oh, and I know Narvin from the Doctor of War Unbounds.

I am basically clueless, in other words.

That’s a very interesting combination of stories. How come you’ve listened to those specifically (especially enemy lines without the rest of gallifrey)?

I was interested and couldn’t afford the set after Enemy Lines. (something States?) It was a holiday audio.

Also, wasn’t 100% sure I’d like a Time War story. Was on the fence intermittently until listening.

I got Leela! I also haven’t listened to Gallifrey yet (I want to do the first 50 Main Range audios so I can actually understand what’s going on in Zagreus before I do) but based purely on TV appearances I’m very happy with this result. She’s my favourite Classic companion.

See, I heard Zagreus with no prior Big Finish context and I understood it rather well, the Previously On, which is almost 10 minutes and keeps the atmosphere very well, does a great job at filling you in of any needed background info.

Leela has also been in the Eighth of March sets, by the way. And the obvious era audios too…

Also, I like Leela on TV, too.
