After a lot of focus groups, surveys, and other studies on this, we learned that the people of Europe were not ready for another year of Måns and needed something else. That is why we decided to send Kaj!

And no one would have believed it a couple of months agso, but now you might very well win again!
What’s weird is that Finland is much more excited about KAJ than our own contestant Erika. I mean, our President has even supported them publicly and they gave a concert to him. KAJ is everywhere in Finnish media, while Erika has been sidelined. And as happy as I am to see KAJ do so well, it makes me feel a bit bad for Erika, because she has a good song and a good number and deserves the support of her own people. This is the first time ever Finns want Sweden to win more than they want Finland to win. But it’s good for the Finland-Sweden relations
