If they can make Chinese sub quickly enough, I’m gonna watch it with a friend’s kid. He’s nine, the perfect age to watch Doctor Who!

The Swedish subs are always released at the same time as the episode. Is that not the same in China?

Disney+ does not offer it’s service here. I don’t think any streaming service bought the new seasons with Ncuti. Bilibili has series 1 to The Day of the Doctor & 13’s run, and Tencent has series 7 to 11. Maybe others have bought some of the new who as well. It’s a mess.

I usually go for not-so-official-so-better-not-discuss-on-TG ways to get Chinese sub. There’s a group of fans been doing them at a much better quality than Bilibili and Tencent.

Wait. Last year their sub was usually half a week after the episode drops…

I just looked it up and it hits Disney+ at 2AM in my timezone. Looks like I’m gonna be having a very late night premiere celebration lol. Thankfully my roommate also loves the show so they shouldn’t mind.

I haven’t exactly been the biggest fan of the newest era but you know what, I’ll be optimistic.

I have this time stayed away from trailers and have completely left Twitter so I shouldn’t be spoiled for any reveal like I was for the Sutekh one through fan speculation.

Will post reviews as they come out.
