I’ve read the first book and love the TV series. And it’s probably sacrilege but I quite like the film. I like the first radio series too. But despite owning all the other books, I haven’t ever got around to reading them.
I have read both Dirk Gentlies though.

Listened to the radio plays, watched the show, read the books, watched the film. I’m a big fan.
Books and Radio are my preferred mediums. I think the Radio has the “”“better”“” story, but there are some gags in the book that are crackers.
I adore it. First got into it via the tv show, then the books & finally the radio series. Douglas Adams’ humour hit me at a very formative age.
Well a box of all the books literally just arrived…

I just fnished the first book, and I loved it!
I’ve read the first 2 books and seen the series.
These are from maybe 2 years ago now but I did some drawings of how I imagined the characters after reading the first book. I will continue to ignore how Marvin is actually described as not being small, he’s small to me.
My dad actually went to the premiere of the H2G2 tv show, no idea how he got there but he was there
I have no idea where I got it from, but I had the idea once of Marvin looking like an R2-D2-esc robot, but angled down instead of up when he ‘walks’ lmao
