NOO THEY COULD HAVE CONTINUED IT WITH HER. WHYYY. They let other things continue with dead or recasted versions of the characters, why not Doctor Who ('s Sarah Jane Smith series)?

Listening to Smith and Sullivan’s inspired me to start these at last! And while I do like Sarah’s characterisation in Comeback and some of the stuff here, I think it’s waaaaaay too slow. And I kinda hate the music!
But there’s lots of fun & interesting ideas here, and as I said I like Sarah’s characterisation as (justifiably) paranoid and kinda miserable. And Sladen plays this older, more tired, more bitter Sarah so well! I just wish the pacing was a bit better, and the interim music between scenes wasn’t so weird and off-putting
