Tv episode but have everyone hate it. I don’t mind that it’s hated. I’m just happy I made something I’m proud of.
On one hand, there’s no companion I dislike (unless you’re sticking me with, like, Adam from The Long Game), so really it’d be getting to travel with 10 with no catch. On the other hand, I’d be more likely to leave a 13/Donna TARDIS team in one piece than I would with 10/Anyone
I’m not massive on historicals anyway, so I went with 1000 years in the future.
Being around here has really opened my eyes about how the phrase “universally hated” is rarely as accurate as it sounds. I’d rather write for me and only get one or two readers who get with it, then write something liked that I’m not passionate about.
Torchwood, because bi.
I haven’t gotten into the PROBE media yet, so I just went with Counter-Measures out of familiarity.
I just imagine me and Narvin joining forces to wind everyone else up; guess I found the one scenario where I think being on Gallifrey is a good idea.
Would you rather?
- Be EXTERMINATED by a Dalek
- Be Cyber-converted
Being cyber converted sounds like a fate worst than death. There would be nothing left of me so I might as well have been exterminated
While there’s life, there’s hope. Bill still seemed to be in there. Ashad was more him then ever. The Cyber Leader was Excellent. 7 of 9, er, was a different series…
I… I don’t want to die… Why is that not an option shauny
Being converted sounds a whole lot worse than dying. I hate the idea of being a husk of my current self.
If I get converted, I plan to try to take over and have the Cybermen become me instead…
Oh no! @SweetAIBelle has gone mad and power-hungry and wants us all to be emotionless tin men
First step: pretend to be Craig Owens. The Cybermen hate it when you do that, and have a lot more trouble converting you…
“Cyber conversion as a fate worse than death” skill issue (/j). Personally I’m going to meld man and machine and become something far removed from humanity and all the more wonderful for it
(Yes that’s not how they work in the show but shh )
Well, yes, I can act like a cat, too, if that helps…
Coming from you?
Does the date 18th of March 2025 + location: TARDIS Guide mean anything to you???
Means absolutely nothing to me tbh…
Getting exterminated is a guaranteed fate; not really getting out of that one.
But with Cyberconversion, there’s still a chance it fails somehow and I maintain… something of who I am afterwards. Yvonne, Danny Pink, the Brigadier, Bill, Ashad, even Hilsee from The Isos Network.
Yeah, there’s a good argument that that fate would be even worse than just the conversion working as intended, but I like to air on the side of hope and it wouldn’t be the first time I’ve felt like my brain and body are chaotically out-of-sync with each other.
Mr OldStream.
Aaaah, but that’s conversion into emotional, intelligent and fun flesh men! Quite different!
