Doctor Who Would You Rather?

I would definitely regenerate. I don’t like the idea of two of me wandering around if I bigenerated :grimacing:

I nearly voted bigenerate, on the basis that my family would still have the old version of me to hang around and be in their lives while the new version of me goes off and has fun, then I realised that I would have to remain as the boring old version in this scenario  In that case, I guess it would depend on if i get a whole regeneration cycle (versus just the one) and if I get some degree of control over the outcome of each regeneration (as some characters seem to be able to)

In the end, I had to choose regeneration because there’s a better than even chance I’d end up younger, with better eyesight, fewer aches and pains, etc. Also, if I bigenerated and stayed as the me of the moment, I’d probably be jealous of the new me.

I’m regenerating. I could use a new body anyways

I would miss my friends and family far too much to leave Earth forever!

On regeneration… I’d be interested in knowing who I’d turn into. I’ve genuinely very little idea…

Funniest thing I’ve seen in a long time, this has made my day

I voted bigenerate, because maybe I’d bigenerate into Ncuti or Archie, which would be cool, and I’d have a new automatic best friend. (This is 100% how it would work for me.)

However, this —

— raises an excellent point.

I’ve thought for a while about this and I think the answer is regenerate, because knowing me bigeneration would ultimately end in a murder attempt, and that would be a waste of regeneration energy. Shame, having a double would be kinda fun.

I’d be fine with a clone, even if she’s like, evil or something, that’s me, but having someone who looks nothing like me claim to be me is a whole nother can of worms. That’s identity theft! I was here first. And, being me, the other one would have the same thought process and then boom fight to the death.

Even two trips in the TARDIS is enough of a reward even though I will probably die after those two trips (I’m a slow runner and a terrible liar).

I’m regenerating, because having another version of myself around would be pretty annoying. Also, if I am even an inch taller after regenerating, it would be worth it.

I’d regenerate, maybe I can even regenerate into Paul McGann since the Doctor clearly regenerated into John Hurt.. (No, that’s canon because Alien the Film exists, you can’t tell me otherwise, that’s how it works!!)

It’s like the plot of the movie Dual.

As a matter of principle, I went with regeneration, because I don’t even think bigeneration should be that common of an occurrence. Besides, I’m used to the feeling of not recognising my younger self, and even with the physical and mental shuffling involved in the process, it’d still be me underneath whatever new form I take.

Regeneration for sure, I think having Another You would just be so unnerving

Would you rather David Tennant’s next audio adventures at Big Finish were as 10, or as 14?

I do not trust anybody who puts 14

Not to sound too much like @monkeyshaver, but I can’t think of any concept for an audio with either of Tennant’s Doctors that would immediately interest me - probably 14, as you could factor in his experiences as 11, 12 or 13, but I think there are ways you can do that with 10 as well (Archipelago does this in a genius way with 9). Neither are particular favourite incarnations of mine though, and we’ve had lots of Tennant over the past few years, so I’m more interested in other Doctors.

A big part of 14’s story/ending is that we don’t need more of him and he shouldn’t come back

I would agree with this if he weren’t a full numbered incarnation, or if they just referred to him as 10 again, but given he does have a number, I’ll be annoyed if he ends up siloed off forever as “the Doctor who was in three specials and a few random comics” - if you want to make him a full, distinct incarnation and put him in the Doctor line-ups separately from 10, then I think he needs to be used to justify that, personally.
